Zinc Compliance Solution Overview

Zinc MAPS has been specially designed to help professionals like you in the life sciences industry with specific promotional compliance requirements. With its simple, intuitive interface, managing approval becomes a smooth, efficient process.

The images below show how your materials might look when using Zinc MAPS.

Active Jobs

The “Active Jobs” screen presents each user with a personalised view of the jobs that they have been assigned to review. “Jobs” are items or materials undergoing approval, and they are grouped according to their status. If the user needs to review a job, it is listed under the “Action” tab. If the user has finished their review, the job is listed under the “Finished” tab. If someone else is reviewing the job, it will be locked to the user, and placed under the “Busy” tab.

Anyone who creates a job will also have a “My Jobs” tab, which provides a summary of all the jobs that they have created.

Job Summary

The “Job Summary” screen gives you basic information about the job, including its name, number, target date, review team and position in the workflow. All team members can see the job summary screen at any point in the review process.

Route Map

The “Route Map” allows you to track a job throughout its review process. It shows the entire history of the job as it passes from user to user: who reviewed it, when, how it looked before their review, and how it looked after. To make sure that all the changes that are made are clear, live links are included to PDF files of each version of the job.

Review Window

The “Review Window” shows the job undergoing review, as well as important information about the job, such as its objective and target audience. Within the review window, there are also links to the references and gallery items accompanying the job, so all associated materials are always at hand.

If the material in the job has undergone previous review cycles, the end product of these cycles is automatically included in the gallery. This means that you can quickly and easily compare the current version of the job with those that existed before.

Adobe Acrobat is embedded within the Zinc MAPS browser to make sure that you can open any and all files with ease.

References

One of the most unique aspects of Zinc MAPS is its references functionality, which allows users to hyperlink references to the material undergoing review. This means that the scientific evidence for any claims in your material can be identified and checked, quickly and easily.

As a reviewer, you can choose to view either the complete reference, or the specific part of the reference that supports the claims made in your material. If you choose to view the complete reference, the PDF will automatically open on the page showing the evidence that matters to your material.

When adding new references to a job, team members have the option to “import” these references from other similar jobs (for example, references from the sales aid can be imported into campaign mailings). This saves everyone time when linking references.

  • Basic job details: this can be changed depending on what the originator finds most important
  • Team members
  • Privilege options: the “view” or “review” status of team member
  • Review sequence: who reviews the document and the order in which they see it
  • Member sequence: the workflow through team members
  • Confirmation
